Nova Labs IGF-DES 3
IGF-1 DES (specifically Des(1-3)IGF-1) is a shortened, highly potent analog of human insulin-like growth factor-1. It lacks the first three amino acids at its N-terminus, making it roughly 10 times more powerful than standard IGF-1 at stimulating cell growth and tissue repair.Key CharacteristicsStructure: Contains 67 amino acids instead of the 70 found in native IGF-1 due to the deletion of the initial Gly-Pro-Glu tripeptide.Binding Affinity: Shows drastically reduced binding to insulin-like growth factor-binding proteins (IGFBPs), which increases its local bioactivity and potency.Half-Life: Lasts roughly 6 to 12 hours in circulation, which is significantly longer than natural IGF-1 (15 minutes) but much shorter than IGF-1 LR3 (20–30 hours).
